Celebrate Dairy Month with Blood Donation Drive

Celebrate Dairy Month with Blood Donation Drive

By Blake Jackson

In celebration of June Dairy Month, the Professional Dairy Producers (PDP) will host its second annual community blood drive. This special event is held to honor dairy producers for their continuous commitment to feeding the world.

The blood drive will take place on Wednesday, June 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the PDP headquarters in Juneau, Wisconsin. This initiative not only supports local health care through blood donations but also shows appreciation for the hardworking members of the dairy industry.

All donors who participate will receive a $15 gift card from the American Red Cross. As a special thank you, PDP staff will also provide delicious dairy-themed treats to enjoy after the donation. Attendees can look forward to popular favourites such as mac and cheese, creamy ice cream, and fresh cheese—making the event both meaningful and enjoyable.

The event serves as a way to give back to the community while spotlighting the vital role of dairy producers. Blood donations help save lives, and Dairy Month reminds us of the people who ensure fresh, nutritious food is available every day.

PDP encourages community members to take part and make a difference by supporting this worthy cause. Whether you're a regular donor or giving for the first time, your contribution will have a lasting impact.

To learn more about the event or schedule your donation, visit the PDP website or contact their office. Celebrate June Dairy Month by making a meaningful donation and enjoying some tasty dairy delights.
