By Blake Jackson

Students passionate about working with animals but uncertain about pursuing graduate school have an exciting opportunity to explore their career options.

The Animal Care, Nutrition, and Vet Services Meet-Up will take place on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Library/Atrium of the Animal Science Building.

This event is designed for students interested in animal-related careers who want to explore professional opportunities beyond graduate school.

Attendees will have the chance to meet with industry professionals, learn about various career paths, and connect with potential employers seeking qualified candidates.

Whether you’re considering positions in animal care, nutrition, veterinary services, or related fields, this event provides valuable insights into post-graduation opportunities.

Students will also have access to representatives from multiple organizations who can offer guidance on entry-level roles, internships, and long-term career development.

This meet-up is an excellent way to network with professionals and gain a clearer understanding of what options exist within the industry.

The event is free to attend, and students are encouraged to visit Handshake for additional details, including a list of participating employers. For any questions, contact career@cals.wisc.edu. Don’t miss this chance to take the next step in your animal-focused career!
