Lamb Crowned 2022 State Honey Queen



A Dane County women will be creating a lot of buzz about the state's honey industry during the coming year. Shannon Lamb of Dane has been selected as the 2022 Wisconsin Honey Queen during the state honey association's annual meeting.

Lamb is a 2021 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where she earned a bachelor's degree in soil and crop science, environmental horticulture, and animal science, with a minor in biology.

She will spend the rest of this year promoting the beekeeping industry in Wisconsin.

In January 2023, Shannon will represent Wisconsin at the American Honey Queen competition in Jacksonville, Florida.
