As the holiday season draws near, the Something Special from Wisconsin (SSfW) program is encouraging shoppers to select products that support local Wisconsin businesses for their celebrations and gifts.
The SSfW program helps consumers find authentic Wisconsin-made products. With nearly 500 member companies, the program features an impressive variety of goods, including dairy items, beverages, snacks, books, gardening supplies, sweets, candles, and baking kits. A full directory of members is available at www.somethingspecialwi.com.
To help shoppers “Savor the Season,” 78th Alice in Dairyland Sarah Hagenow is spotlighting products from 36 SSfW members across the state. Through December 12, 2025, Hagenow will feature these Wisconsin-made items ranging from popcorn and sweet treats to candles, spices, and rubs across social media, blogs, newspapers, and TV and radio interviews.
“I am so excited to uplift and promote the Something Special from Wisconsin program through this holiday campaign,” said Hagenow. “This is a great opportunity to showcase unique novelties from our Wisconsin businesses and help community members everywhere. Follow along with me this November and December to learn how you can ‘Savor the Season’ with Something Special from Wisconsin.”
