Beef producers will have the chance to expand their knowledge this winter through a free educational webinar series offered by the University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension.
The Beef Roundup Webinar Series will bring together Extension specialists and national industry experts to discuss key issues and emerging challenges facing today’s beef operations.
The series begins on December 11, 2025, with Dr. Ron Gill, Texas A&M Extension Livestock Specialist, presenting on effective handling facilities. On January 15, 2026, Dr. Jessica Sperber, University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension Feedlot Specialist, will cover strategies for “Unlocking the Full Potential of Growth-Enhancing Technologies.”
The February 19, 2026, session will focus on the Asian longhorned tick, led by Kansas State Extension Entomologist Dr. Cassandra Olds. The final webinar, scheduled for March 19, 2026, features Iowa State Extension Cow-Calf Specialist Dr. Randie Culbertson, who will address important considerations for rebuilding cow herds.
Each webinar will run from 7 to 8 p.m. CST, offering producers a convenient opportunity to learn, ask questions, and connect with others in the beef industry.
