Competitors interested in submitting entries in the World Championship Cheese Contest have one last chance to register their products online. Hosted by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association, this biennial competition has grown since it was first held in 1957. The 2020 event featured a record-setting 3,667 cheese entries from 36 states and 26 different countries around the world.
Coordinators say the 2022 contest will include more than a hundred classes of dairy products, including several new categories this year.
Entries will be accepted through January 26 at www.worldchampioncheese.org.
The contest takes place March 1-3 at Monona Terrace Convention Center in Madison.
