World Dairy Expo Opens 2026 Dairy Cattle Show Registration

World Dairy Expo Opens 2026 Dairy Cattle Show Registration

By Blake Jackson

Online registration is now available for exhibitors planning to participate in the Dairy Cattle Show at the 59th World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wisconsin.

Entries must be submitted exclusively through the World Dairy Expo website by Monday, August 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. CDT. Late submissions will still be accepted but will require an additional fee.

The Dairy Cattle Show is scheduled to take place from September 27 through October 2, 2026. Exhibitors can access the premium book online, which includes entry details, show rules, schedules, and other important information.

Those who prefer a printed copy may request one through the Expo’s Dairy Systems Manager or Dairy Cattle & Contests Coordinator.

World Dairy Expo organizers continue to monitor Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (H5N1) and other animal health concerns affecting the dairy industry. Current health requirements align with the USDA National Milk Testing Strategy.

Lactating cattle from states classified as Affected or Provisional Unaffected must complete an Influenza A PCR test before arriving at the event. The same testing requirement applies to cattle transported alongside animals from those states.

Exhibitors are encouraged to review testing deadlines and consult their state animal health officials before traveling. Additional health updates will be shared as new guidance becomes available.

The Dairy Cattle Show officially begins on Sunday, September 27, with the International Junior Holstein Show cow classes and International Milking Shorthorn Show heifer classes starting at 10:00 a.m.

Recognized as one of the dairy industry's premier international events, World Dairy Expo brings together producers, exhibitors, and industry professionals from around the world.

Along with elite dairy cattle competition, the week-long event features a major dairy trade show, educational seminars, youth contests, business meetings, and networking opportunities that highlight the latest innovations in dairy production.
