Dairy Leaders Invited to Attend PDPW Managers Academy
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 12/04/2018

The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin is holding a three-day forum this winter for dairy managers, industry directors, processors, marketers and distributors who want to grow their business executive skills.

The Managers Academy is being held January 15-17 in Charleston, South Carolina, where attendees will have the opportunity to participate in two days of in-class sessions. Participants will also tour the Charleston Tea Plantation and the Port of Charleston.

"Managers Academy is the place to be to identify and capitalize on those opportunities," said PDPW Director Shelly Mayer. "You will return to your business refreshed, stimulated and empowered to make more effective short- and long-term decisions for the viability and advancement of your business."

This year's business coaches include Ray Davis of Supply Velocity, who will lead participants through an interactive overview of Lean and Six Sigma concepts, outlining how these approaches can help dairy farmers identify where their businesses can be more efficient, nimble and productive; and Tom Thibodeau will share the secrets of servant leadership that help participants strengthen their own management skills and built stronger teams in their organizations.
