Deadline for State FFA Alumni Membership Dues is May 1
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 04/11/2018

Supporters of agriculture education are being reminded that the deadline to sign-up for annual membership into the Wisconsin FFA Alumni Association is May 1. State FFA Alumni Director Cheryl Steinbach says in order to ensure that Wisconsin chapters are properly registered at the national level, rosters need to be sent in soon.

"When members register, it is vital that their individual profiles are updated to include current mailing addresses and emails," Steinbach says. "Since we no longer have hard copy newsletters being mailed, the only form of communication is through the email, both at the state and national levels. If your email is not provided or the one listed is incorrect, you will not receive this information."

Meanwhile, the association also has a campaign drive underway to sign people up as Lifetime Members. The dues for that level of membership is increasing by $40 this year, so interested supporters are encouraged to pay those fees before August 1.

"It does not matter if you ever belonged to FFA or if you are currently involved in production agriculture," Steinbach noted. "All you need is an interest and belief in the advantages of agriculture education. The lifetime dues go into special investment accounts and continue to keep giving, some of which come directly back to Wisconsin students."
