'Goldwyn' is Repeat Winner at State Holstein Championship Show

A six-year-old Holstein cow owned by Budjon Farms, Clark Woodmansee III, Henry & Carolyn Van Exel, and T&S Abbott has taken the top honors at the Wisconsin Holstein Champion show for the second consecutive year. 'BU Rosiers Blexy Goldwyn-ET' was named Senior & Grand Champion Female of the Open Show, Best Udder of Show, and winner of the Six Year Olds class. The Reserve Senior Champion Female of the Open Show was 'Trefle Chassep Doorman-ET,' owned by Milk Source LLC of Kaukauna; with Reserve Senior Champion honors going to 'Strans-Jen-D Tequila-Red-ET,' also owned by Milk Source.

Ryan-Vu Holsteins of Fond du Lac was honored for being Premier Breeder, and exhibited one of the Best Three Females of the show. Milk Source was recognized as the Premier Exhibitor.

The Champion Bred & Owned of the Show was 'Hillpine Ds Night Moves,' exhibited by Megan R Lauber of Union Grove.

In the Junior Show, the Champion Female honors was presented to 'Petitclerc Atwood Spoutnik-ET,' owned by Noah Bilz of Dorchester. 'Jeffrey-Way New Romance,' owned by Emma Kate Hendrickson, Belleville, was named Reserve Junior Female.

The Wisconsin Holstein Championship Show was held at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison. The competition was Mike Berry, who evaluated 72 heifers and 55 cows during the annual competition.
