New Edition of 'Growing Wisconsin' Being Distributed
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 08/08/2017

The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture has announced its fifth edition of the 'Growing Wisconsin' magazine. The 68-page full color publication aims to connect readers with the state's agricultural community.

"This publication offers a way for all of us to learn the who, what, where, when, why and how behind our farms and agricultural products," said State Ag Secretary Ben Brancel. "By reading these stories, we can all appreciate the efforts to put food on our plates, clothing in our closets, roofs over our heads and fuel in our vehicles."

The Growing Wisconsin magazine includes stories about family-owned businesses carrying on the traditions of generations past, as well as taking advantage of new technologies and educational opportunities that help keep their businesses thriving. Readers will see how Wisconsin's agricultural infrastructure helps generate jobs and encourages investment and growth, according to its publishers.

The Growing Wisconsin magazine will be distributed, free of charge, to public places around the state. Copies will also be available in the lobby of the DATCP building in Madison.
