Lots of Staff Changes in Local Agriculture Classrooms

Now that school has started, local high schools have finalized their teaching rosters for the 2020-21 academic year. Wisconsin FFA Director Cheryl Zimmerman says over 30 schools have teaching changes in their agriculture education programs this fall.

"There are a lot of changes in agriculture instructors/FFA advisors at various departments across Wisconsin for the new school year," Zimmerman said. "Many are new teachers. Others are teachers that have moved to a different school."

The teaching changes include:

The Department of Public Instruction says ag class participation and individual FFA membership in the state has been on the rise over the past several years.
