2025 Wisconsin Pork Hall of Fame Honors Jim Brinkmeier

The Wisconsin Pork Association Hall of Fame Award honors individuals who have shown exceptional dedication to the Wisconsin State Fair’s open and junior swine shows and who have built a successful swine breeding program throughout their careers.

The Wisconsin Pork Association invites everyone to attend the 2025 Hall of Fame Award presentation, which will take place in the swine barn at the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds on Sunday, August 3, 2025, around 12:00 p.m.

The event will recognize this year’s inductee, Jim Brinkmeier of Pearl City, Illinois, and celebrate the accomplishments of previous Hall of Fame recipients.

The 2025 award will be presented posthumously in honor of Jim Brinkmeier, with members of the Brinkmeier family planning to attend the ceremony.

Past honorees include:

  • 2012 - Erv Nuttleman, Bangor
  • 2013 - Roger Guse, Whitehall
  • 2014 - Dennis Jeffers, Poplar Grove, IL
  • 2015 - Bill Clothier, Clinton
  • 2016 - Charles Schmaling Family, Delavan
  • 2017 - Hilman Schroeder, Sauk City
  • 2018 - Thomas Knauer, Avalon
  • 2019 - Gary & Diann Skalitzky, Waterloo
  • 2020 - WSF Cancelled
  • 2021 - Todd Brewer, Albany
  • 2022 - Robert “R.J.” Ellingson, Poplar Grove, IL
  • 2023 - Tom Walsh, Beloit
  • 2024 - Mickey Gilster, Bangor
