Alltech Elevates Ag Voice at COP30 Brazil

Alltech Elevates Ag Voice at COP30 Brazil

By Jamie Martin

As global leaders and sustainability experts gather for COP30 in Belém, Brazil, Alltech is taking a strong stand for the agri-food sector. The company aims to ensure that agriculture is recognized as a vital part of climate action. Through active participation, partnerships, and film screenings, Alltech demonstrates how agriculture can contribute to a healthier planet.

“With a presence in more than 140 countries, Alltech’s global perspective allows us to see the best of agricultural innovation in action,” said Dr. Mark Lyons, president and CEO of Alltech, a global animal nutrition and crop science leader. “Every day, we witness remarkable innovation taking place around the world — new ideas and technologies that are improving agriculture and enhancing its impact on people, animals and the planet. Science and collaboration are driving solutions that strengthen economies, nourish communities and restore our natural resources. This is the true power of agriculture: its ability to shape the future.”

Alltech is showcasing its acclaimed documentary World Without Cows and a 20-minute companion film World Without Cows Brazil: The Battle for Balance. The film highlights Brazil’s potential to double food production through regenerative practices like pasture restoration—without cutting down a single tree.

Beyond COP30, Alltech continues to build momentum through global forums. At Climate Week NYC, the company emphasized that sustainable food systems depend on both soil and livestock. Similarly, at the FAO Global Conference in Rome, Alltech hosted a screening of World Without Cows to spark dialogue on sustainable livestock transformation.

Alltech’s participation at COP30 and other international platforms reinforces its message that agriculture is not a problem to fix but a solution to celebrate—one that sustains people, animals, and the planet.
