Baroun Named WMSPA Marketing Intern

Wisconsin Maple Syrup Producers Association has selected its marketing intern for the coming year. Alicia Baroun will work 32 to 40 hours in the position through next September.

Baroun is currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, majoring in business and accounting. She also owns a maple syrup and honey business.

"I'm excited about beginning my yearlong internship," Alicia said. "I'm looking forward to promoting maple syrup, becoming even more involved in the association, and visiting different maple syrup operations across the state."

The WMSPA began its marketing internship program five years ago in lieu of choosing a Maple Queen to handle its promotion duties.
