The Janesville-based Blain's Farm & Fleet has been named one of "America's Best Midsize Employers" by Forbes magazine for the third year in a row. The publication partnered with market research company Statista to identify which companies are best at making their employees feel happy, inspired, and well-compensated.
In addition to being recognized as one of the Top 500 Midsize Employers in America, Farm & Fleet was ranked 17th among all Retail and Wholesale companies in the U.S.
"As a family-owned company, we've fostered an environment where we treat our associates like family and our customers like neighbors. So, we are thrilled to be recognized for the third time in a row by Forbes magazine as one of America's Best Employers," said CEO Jane Blain Gilbertson. "We are honored that, while undergoing an unprecedented pandemic, our associates continue to enjoy working at Blain's Farm & Fleet alongside each other, their managers and our customers as they provide essential goods to the community."
Forbes surveyed more than 50,000 full- and part-time employees in America across 25 industries. The survey was conducted through online access panels to ensure respondents were anonymous and able to freely give their opinions without company influence. Participants were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their employer to acquaintances and evaluated other employers in similar industries.
