The USDA announced that the December Federal Order Class III milk price fell to $15.72 per hundredweight. That was $7.62 lower for the month, and $3.65 below December 2019.
The Class III price averaged $18.16 for the year--with $12.14 being the lowest monthly price during May and $24.64 in July, which was the highest peak.
The Class IV component price was six-cents higher than last month at $13.36, but $3.34 less than last year.
