Class III Milk Price Announced at $15.75 for February



The USDA announced that the February Federal Order Class III milk price fell to $15.75 per hundredweight. That was 29-cents lower for the month, and $1.25 below February 2020.

During the 2020 calendar year, the Class III price averaged $18.16--with $12.14 being the lowest monthly price during May and peaked at $24.64 in July.

The Class IV component price was 39-cents higher than last month at $13.75, but $2.90 less than last year.

Last week, Wisconsin's all milk price for January was announced at $17.50 cwt., which was 60-cents lower than last month's price and $1.90 below the previous year.
