The USDA announced that the March Federal Order Class III milk price rose to $16.15 per hundredweight. That was 40-cents higher for the month, but 10-cent below March 2020.
So far, the Class III price has averaged $15.98 during 2021.
The Class IV component price was 99-cents higher than last month at $14.18, but 69-cents less than last year.
Earlier this week, Wisconsin's all milk price for February was announced at $17.20 cwt., which was 30-cents lower than last month's price and $1.90 below the previous year.
