Class III Milk Price Announced at $17.67 for April



The USDA announced that the April Federal Order Class III milk price rose to $17.67 per hundredweight. That was $1.52 higher for the month, and $4.60 above April 2020.

So far, the Class III price has averaged $16.40 during 2021.

The Class IV component price was $1.24 higher than last month at $15.43, and $4.02 more than last year.

Last week, Wisconsin's all milk price for March was announced at $17.50 cwt, which was 30-cents above last month's price, but 60-cents below the previous year.
