The USDA announced that the June Federal Order Class III milk price fell to $17.21 per hundredweight. That was $1.75 lower for the month, and $3.83 below June 2020.
So far, the Class III price has averaged $16.96 during 2021.
The Class IV component price was 19-cents higher than last month at $16.35, and $3.45 more than last year.
Earlier this week, Wisconsin's all milk price for May was announced at $19.70 cwt., which was 90-cents above last month's price, and $6.00 more than the previous year.
