Class III Milk Price Dips to $20.10 During August



The USDA announced that the August Federal Order Class III milk price fell to $20.10 per hundredweight. That was $2.42 lower for the month, but $4.15 above August 2021.

The benchmark price recently set a new all-time record high of $25.21 in May of this year.

So far, the Class III price has averaged $22.54 during 2022.

The Class IV component price was 98-cents lower for the month at $24.81, but $8.89 more than last year.
