The average price received by farmers for corn during July in Wisconsin was $6.75 per bushel, according to the latest USDA Agricultural Prices report. That was 30-cents below the June price, but 71-cents above July 2021.
Soybeans average $15.20 per bushel, 90-cents lower for the month, but $1.00 higher for the year.
Oat prices were 25-cents lower in July at $5.06, but fell $1.91 compared to a year ago.
All hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $132.00 per ton--$12.00 below the June price and $22.00 lower than last July. Alfalfa hay was $144.00, $6.00 lower than the previous month and $28.00 below July 2021. The average price received for other hay during July was $104.00 per ton. This was down $7.00 and $4.00 below for the month and year, respectively.
