Randolph FFA Member is Runner-Up in Culver's 2022 Essay Contest

Culver's has announced the winners of its annual FFA Essay contest. The Wisconsin-based restaurant chain held the competition as a way to bring awareness to agriculture education.

The winning entry was submitted by a student from Logan County, Kentucky. She will receive a $7,500 cash prize. The runner-up was identified as 'Briella B.' of the Randolph Cambria-Friesland FFA. She will get $5,000 for her essay. Earning $2,500 for third place was an entry from Missouri.

"Agriculture has, is, and will continue to make a positive difference in feeding the population, innovating ideas, and producing biodegradable products," Briella's essay stated. "The final line of the FFA Creed reflects on how each individual is responsible for more than just themselves... I am the future of agriculture and it is my job to communicate the struggles of the past, the ideas of the present, and the benefits of the future to my community, my state, and my world."

The essay contest allowed students to share the ways agriculture is positively impacting the world in its eighth annual FFA Essay Contest.

The program is part of the Thank You Farmers Project, an initiative created by Culver's that encourages smart farming through agricultural education programs.
