The Wisconsin Honey Producers Association (WHPA) is seeking volunteers for its Honey Booth at the Wisconsin State Fair, held from July 31 through August 10.
Located in the Wisconsin Products Pavilion, this booth is a longtime fair favorite and serves as the WHPA’s only annual fundraiser.
The Honey Booth offers visitors a unique opportunity to learn about Wisconsin beekeeping. It features an observation hive, educational displays, and a variety of Wisconsin-made honey products available for purchase. Volunteers play a vital role in promoting the value of bees, honey, and local beekeeping to the public.
WHPA invites county beekeeping associations, clubs, families, and individuals to participate. Volunteers can choose between two shifts each day: the daytime shift from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or the evening shift from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
All volunteers will receive free admission to the Wisconsin State Fair on the day of their shift. This is a great way to share your knowledge, support the WHPA, and enjoy the fair.
