The USDA announced that the September Federal Order Class III milk price rose to $15.95 per hundredweight. That was 58-cents higher for the month, and 10-cents above September 2020.
So far, the Class III price has averaged $16.75 during 2021.
The Class IV component price was 44-cents higher for the month at $16.36, and $3.61 over last year.
Last week, Wisconsin's all milk price for August was announced at $17.40 cwt., which was 30-cents lower than last month's price and $2.00 below the same month last year.
