Cooperative Network has announced the date of its 2021 Co-op Day at the Capitol rally. Cooperative businesses are invited to take part in a day of virtual meetings on March 19 to connect with their local representatives to discuss issues of importance to rural Wisconsin.
Participants will spend the morning hearing a political update followed by presentations from administrative and legislative leaders. One-on-one sessions will be held after lunch with committee chairs and elected officials.
Organizers say cooperatives are a crucial part of the state's economy and they play a vital role in job creation, rural development and economic stability.
