Compeer Financial Awards Scholarships to High School Grads



The Compeer Financial Fund for Rural America has awarded 123 graduating high school students with $1,500 educational scholarships.

Corporate Giving Specialist Karen Schieler says recipients were chosen based on their academic achievement, essay writing and involvement in agricultural and community organizations.

"The students receiving these scholarships are making impacts in both rural communities and the future of the agricultural industry," Schieler said. "We want to encourage them to continue doing great things as they work toward their careers."

In Wisconsin, 40 student-recipients were chosen for the award.
