Beef producers are invited to attend a free educational workshop hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the Easton Town Hall, located at 1163 County Road A in Grand Marsh, Wisconsin.
Designed for local beef producers, the workshop will provide valuable insights into key management practices for cow-calf operations.
Topics will include effective use of corn residue, fall culling strategies, year-round body condition scoring for reproductive success, and proper preparation for transporting cattle. Additional topics may be discussed based on attendee interest.
The event will be led by UW-Madison Division of Extension Livestock Educators, who will share expert guidance and practical tools to support herd productivity and health. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with other producers in the region.
While the event is free to attend, registration is required. Refreshments will be provided.
To register, please contact the Adams County Extension Office by phone at (608) 339-4237 or email linda.arneson@wisc.edu. For further details or questions, you may also reach out to Adam Hartfiel at (920) 647-6560 or via email at adam.hartfiel@wisc.edu.
