Dairy & Ag Leadership Conference for High School Students


The 2023 Stride® Youth Leadership Conference presented by Professional Dairy Producers® (PDPW) is a one-day event for high school students ages 15 to 18. The conference will be held on Saturday, September 23, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Stock Pavilion.

The conference will focus on a variety of dairy and agriculture-related career fields, as well as leadership and communication skills. Students will have the opportunity to learn from industry professionals, participate in hands-on activities, and network with other students.

The conference will be led by Michael Hoffman, founder and owner of Igniting Performance, Inc. Hoffman is a certified leadership coach and trainer who has worked with organizations of all sizes. He will use interactive team challenges and his high-energy style to teach students important leadership skills.

In addition to leadership training, the conference will also include hands-on labs in food science and soil science. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the latest research in these fields and interact with researchers and industry professionals.
