Dairy Calf & Heifer Conference Returns to Wisconsin

The Dairy Calf and Heifer Association will host its next annual conference in Wisconsin this spring. The event will be held April 6-8 at the Red Lion Hotel Paper Valley in Appleton to help heifer growers network with one another and share ideas.

The conference kicks off with an optional tour of Shiloh Dairy in Brillion in the morning. Afternoon pre-conference seminars will focus on antibody protection for calves vs. vaccination and the impact of Saccharomyces cerevisiae fermentation products on the calf immune response and susceptibility to respiratory infection.

On April 7, Theresa Ollivett will present the DCHA Gold Standards. Matt Rush will provide a keynote on planting the seeds of greatness. There will also be breakout sessions and a trade show throughout the week.

Custom heifer raisers, dairy producers, veterinarians, nutritionists and anyone with a vested interest in raising calves are invited to attend the conference.

Online registration is open for the conference. For more information, call 855-400-3242 or go to: calfandheifer.org.
