A DeForest man was killed last week while working on a piece of farm equipment.
According to the Dane County Sheriff's Department, 46-year-old Roger Manthe was repairing a grain bin auger when the unit fell on top of him.
The accident happened Thursday morning in the Village of Windsor.
Manthe was transported by Windsor/DeForest EMS to UW Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The accident remains under investigation by the Medical Examiner's Office and the Sheriff's Office.
