The University of Wisconsin Discovery Farms will host its 11th annual conference at the Glacier Canyon Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells this fall. The December 14 forum is geared towards farmers and emphasizes strategies that work on farms and for water quality.
Organizers say the conference will bring together producers, farm advisors and experts to apply science and experience to today's hot topics. All in attendance can expect to leave with new ideas and practical tips that can be applied to their situation.
Sessions will focus on soil health practices, effectiveness of grassed waterways, nitrogen and cropping systems in Wisconsin, and opportunities for Nitrogen optimization.
