DNR: Wolf Harvest Quotas Met, Hunt to End Today

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources announced that wolf harvesting Zones 1,3,4 will close to hunting and trapping gray wolves by the end of the day on February 24. That's after nearly 100 wolves had been registered as of Tuesday afternoon.

All zones will close to any further hunting and trapping of wolves for the February 2021 wolf harvest season as of 3:00 p.m. today.

With this closure, all six wolf harvest zones will be closed for this season.

It is each hunter's responsibility to verify and abide by zone closures posted online, the DNR stated.
