Entertainers Locked in for Wisconsin Farm Technology Days



Plans and packed schedules are shaping up for Wisconsin Farm Technology Days 2023 in Baraboo, July 18-20. Major sponsor Rural Mutual Insurance will be sponsoring the Rural Mutual Insurance Rural Event Center with a full schedule of entertaining and educational performances and presentations sure to delight all attendees at this year's show at the Badger Steam & Gas Engine Club.

Alice in Dairyland will be opening the Rural Mutual Insurance Rural Event Center stage each day. As an ambassador for Wisconsin's $104.8 billion agriculture industry, Alice in Dairyland shares the important story of our state's food, fuel, and fiber production with audiences of all ages.

"We've got something entertaining for everyone to enjoy during the 2023 show," said Arnie Jennerman, general manager of Wisconsin Farm Technology Days. "Every day the main stage will feature music, cultural performances, food demonstrations, and very timely educational presentations about on-farm energy generation. The event center will also house exhibit booths from non-profit organizations, both statewide and local, as well as artisans showing their wares. Currently, 246 exhibitors have committed to being at this year's Farm Technology Show, right on track with past years. The show expects over 450 exhibitors in 2023. The Rural Mutual Insurance Rural Event Center mainstage will include:

  • Mad Dog & Merrill of Midwest Grill'n: Internationally recognized and self-proclaimed "Grillologists," Mad Dog & Merrill®, entertain and educate thousands of backyard enthusiasts every year with the finer points of grilling on America's Favorite Grill'n Show. ??They want nothing more than to make everyone a better griller and have a ton of fun doing it!
  • Country Duo KG &The Ranger: Saddle up your imagination for a ride to the Old West with award-winning cowboy yodelers KG & The Ranger. They yodel in harmony and they keep the audience entranced with interesting bits of history about the cowboy songs they sing. Western entertainment guaranteed fun for all ages!
  • Comedian Scott Long: Get ready to have a laugh with family-friendly comedian Scott Long. He comes with 25 years of experience and top-rate improvisational skills, which makes each show unique. Long proudly calls the midwest home and happily goes by the title of 'Top Comedian in Fly-Over Country'.
  • Ho-Chunk Performers: The Rural Mutual Stage will feature various cultural performances from the Ho-Chunk performers. Singing, dancing, traditional regalia and more will be showcased at Farm Technology Days.
  • Focus on Energy Presentation: Focus on Energy is dedicated to increasing energy savings and customer satisfaction, leading Wisconsin to be a better environment to live in for years to come. They will be discussing how farms can reduce energy costs and the different opportunities for on-farm energy production available such as solar and wind.

Other performances and presentations will be announced closer to the show.
