Being the Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association canceled its in-person district meetings this spring due to the pandemic, the make up of the group's regional board of directors will remain the same for another year.
Board members were able to hold a virtual reorganizational meeting in April, where Les Danielson was elected chairman of the board, while David Wilke was chosen as vice chair. The board's secretary/treasurer will be Steve Schleis and Karl Merow will serve as assistant secretary/treasurer. Other board members include Dan Leischer, Pete Kleiman, Allan Cihlar, Brad Solchenberger, Dwight Truttmann, and Adam Quandahl.
"Equity is always looking for creative ways to improve operations, serve members, and maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace," says Equity CEO Curt Larson. "Producer members play a vital role in Equity's success. We sincerely thank all members who have continued to utilize our services during the past year."
