The Wisconsin Farm Bureau's Young Farmer and Agriculturist Program is taking applications for its 2021 Excellence in Agriculture Award competition. The program awards participants on their involvement in agriculture, leadership ability, involvement and participation in Farm Bureau and other civic and service organizations.
Applicants must not have derived a majority of their income from a farm that they own for the past three years.
An online entry application must be completed by July 1. Finalists will compete at the WFBF annual meeting in Wisconsin Dells later this fall.
The YFA program is open to Farm Bureau members between the ages of 18 and 35.
