Farm Wisconsin Throwing Beef Fest for National Beef Month


The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center in Manitowoc is partnering with the Wisconsin Beef Council to host Beef Fest to celebrate National Beef Month this Saturday, May 20th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Guests are welcome to attend to learn about the beef industry in Wisconsin through hands-on activities, demonstrations, and the chance to meet cattle.

Crescent Meats will provide a sausage-making demonstration at 11:30, as well as a 5K Burgers and Buns Fun Run hosted by the Wisconsin Beef Council.

Participants will receive a free burger as a reward for finishing the race, but the Wisconsin Café will also serve fresh burgers and hot dogs.
