Focus on forage - free webinar series for Wisconsin farmers

By Blake Jackson

Wisconsin farmers and agricultural professionals have an opportunity to enhance their forage management knowledge through Focus on Forage, a free, four-part webinar series. This virtual event provides research-based insights and practical strategies to maximize forage yield, quality, and profitability.

The series features forage industry experts, UW–Madison specialists, and Extension educators who will share valuable information on improving farm efficiency.

Topics will cover crops, soils, dairy, farm management, and livestock, making the sessions relevant to a wide range of producers.

In addition to gaining practical knowledge, participants can earn Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) CEUs and ARPAS credits for each session.

The webinars are available to farmers and industry professionals statewide, covering counties across Wisconsin, including Dane, Rock, Marathon, and many others.

The webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 12:30 to 1:30 PM (CST) and will be held virtually. Registration is required to attend. Farmers, agronomists, and industry professionals from all counties in Wisconsin are encouraged to participate.

For more details or to sign up, contact Liz Gartman at liz.gartman@wisc.edu or call 920-331-7835. Don't miss this opportunity to optimize your forage operations with expert guidance!
