Green Thumb Gardening Fall Series Returns 2025

Green Thumb Gardening Fall Series Returns 2025

By Blake Jackson

The Green Thumb Gardening Fall Series returns this year with a focus on adding color to your autumn garden while preparing for a vibrant spring.

Hosted by the University of Wisconsin Extension, this educational program offers a variety of classes designed for gardeners of all experience levels from beginners to seasoned experts.

Participants will explore a wide range of topics, including ornamental grasses, bulb planting, and preparing the garden for winter. Each session provides practical tips and expert advice to help gardeners maintain healthy, thriving landscapes throughout the colder months.

The 2025 fall series will be held online on October 23, Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. CST, allowing participants from across Wisconsin to join conveniently from home.

Gardeners can register for the entire 10-class series at a discounted rate of $100 or choose individual classes for $12 each.

Covering counties statewide, this virtual series offers a valuable opportunity to learn about seasonal gardening techniques and connect with fellow plant enthusiasts. Registration is required to participate.

For more information or to register, contact Lisa Johnson at 608-224-3715 or email johnson.lisa@danecounty.gov. Whether you’re planning for fall color or next year’s blooms, the Green Thumb Gardening Series has something for every gardener.
