A Monday morning barn fire near Madison is being blamed on a heat lamp that apparently tipped over.
According to the Dane County Sheriff's Department, the blaze was reported on a farm in the town of Sun Prairie.
The structure is considered to be a total loss after crews from Sun Prairie, Cottage Grove and Marshall responded to the incident.
The barn housed two goats, which were able to be rescued, as well as several pieces of equipment.
