The Ellison Lab in the Department of Plant and Agroecosystem Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is hosting an informative field day on the latest advancements in hemp research.
Scheduled for Tuesday, August 20th, from 9 AM to 12 PM, the event will take place at the Arlington Agricultural Research Station, located at N695 Hopkins Road, Arlington, WI 53911.
Participants are invited to arrive early, as coffee and donuts will be served starting at 8:45 AM. The field day will feature presentations in a “speed run” format, where each topic is covered in a 10-minute presentation followed by 5 minutes for questions and answers.
The research topics include Industrial (Grain/Fiber) Hemp Variety Trials, High Cannabinoid Hemp Variety Trials, Preservation and Characterization of Feral Hemp Germplasm, IPM Diagnostic Tool Development, Companion Cropping in Hemp, and Evaluation of Hemp Fiber Production and Quality.
