A Hillsboro man has died after the all-terrain vehicle he was driving lost control and crashed on a rural roadway.
According to the Vernon County Sheriff's Department, 36-year-old Adam Hemmersbach was traveling on County Highway F on Monday afternoon when the accident happened.
He was severely injured after being ejected from the machine.
Reports say he was transported to an area hospital and then airlifted to Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, where he later died from his injuries.
