Johnson Tractor Acquires Farmers Implement

Johnson Tractor Acquires Farmers Implement

By Blake Jackson

Johnson Tractor has announced the acquisition of Farmers’ Implement, effective June 1, marking another step in the company’s strategic expansion to better serve agricultural customers across the region. The move strengthens Johnson Tractor’s footprint while maintaining continuity for existing Farmers’ Implement customers.

As part of the transition, customers will benefit from access to Johnson Tractor’s expanded parts of availability, service capabilities, and technical expertise, while continuing to work with the familiar local teams they rely on. The acquisition is designed to enhance support for growers and equipment owners without disrupting day-to-day operations.

“Expanding into these communities allows us to build on the strong relationships already in place and provide additional resources that support our customers’ operations,” said Eric Reuterskiold, CEO of Johnson Tractor. “Our goal is to combine local knowledge with the strength of a larger organization to better serve growers and equipment owners across the region.”

Employees from Farmers’ Implement will join Johnson Tractor’s growing dealership network, which emphasizes ongoing training, professional development, and long-term investment in both people and communities. Operations will continue without interruption as systems and processes are integrated gradually.

The acquisition underscores Johnson Tractor’s commitment to thoughtful, customer-focused growth throughout Wisconsin and Illinois.
