Most Other Farm Commodities Higher Last Month



The average price received by farmers for corn during February 2022 in Wisconsin was $5.84 per bushel. According to the latest USDA Agricultural Prices report, that was 45-cents above the January price and $1.10 over the previous year.

Soybean prices were $14.70 per bushel--$2.20 above last month and $1.70 over last year.

The average oat price per bushel was 84-cents higher than in January at $6.22, and rose $3.23 from February 2021.

All hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $153.00 per ton. This was $2.00 below the January price and $14.00 less than the same period a year earlier. Alfalfa hay prices were $160.00, unchanged from last month, but $19.00 below last year. The average price received for other hay was $129.00 per ton. This was $5.00 below the January price, but $11.00 above February last year.
