The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation has welcomed Nate Zimdars as the Governmental Relations Administrative Assistant. In this role, Zimdars will provide crucial daily support to WFBF's Governmental Relations team, overseeing meetings, events, and monitoring legislative developments at local, state, and national levels. Zimdars brings extensive agricultural involvement, having served as a state FFA officer and Wisconsin FFA Alumni president. With over a decade of Farm Bureau membership, he previously served on the Fond du Lac County Farm Bureau board and excelled in leadership programs.
WFBF Executive Director of Governmental Relations, Jason Mugnaini, expressed confidence in Zimdars, citing his deep roots in agriculture and political experience. Raised on a small hobby farm in Ripon, Zimdars has a background in political science and history from UW-Fond du Lac and UW-Madison. Formerly a Farm Broadcaster and machine operator, he joins WFBF with a wealth of industry knowledge.
Zimdars officially assumed his role on February 5, bringing his unique blend of agricultural insight and political acumen to support the Farm Bureau's governmental relations initiatives.
