A University of Wisconsin-Madison student is among this year's winners of the Mid America CropLife Association scholarship program.
Tanner Oyen of Lancaster, who is majoring in Agronomy with a minor in Business Management, will receive $2,000 to help with his college tuition expenses. He was one of 11 students from across the nation to be selected for the honor.
Oyen will graduate in May 2022. He will intern with Helena Agri-Enterprises this summer.
This is the ninth year for the scholarship program, which is designed to expose future agriculturalists to the crop protection industry and future career opportunities.
All candidates must be studying in an agricultural area and be enrolled at one of the Land-Grant Universities in the MACA region.
