Pepin County Barn Destroyed by Fire

Authorities say a barn in western Wisconsin is a complete loss after a weekend fire.

WRDN Radio reports that the blaze was reported on Sunday afternoon on a farm in the town of Frankfort in Pepin County.

Fire fighters from Durand, Plum City, Lund, Nelson and Elmwood responded at the Jessie Richardson farm, where they found the structure fully engulfed and spreading to another building. A pickup truck and skid steer were also lost.

There were no reports of injuries or livestock lost. Firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading to the home.
