The 26th Annual Wisconsin Jersey Spring Spectacular, a premier event for Jersey cattle enthusiasts, returns to the Vernon County Fairgrounds in Viroqua, Wisconsin, on May 2-3.
This highly anticipated show attracts top breeders from across the Midwest, including Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, and Illinois, showcasing their exceptional registered Jersey cattle.
Attendees can expect a competitive display of high-quality livestock vying for top honors. The event, which has previously drawn up to 500 visitors, reinforces its significance within the Jersey cattle community.
Trent Kilgus will serve as the judge for the 2025 show. Entry forms will be available on March 15. Exhibitors are encouraged to register early, with a $20 exhibitor fee and a $10 per animal entry fee for submissions postmarked by April 18.
Entries postmarked between April 19-25 will incur a $25 fee, and late entries will be accepted at the show for $100.
The event commences on Friday, May 2, with Showmanship at 3:00 p.m. The cattle show will continue on Saturday, May 3, starting at 9:00 a.m. with the winter heifers. A silent auction will also be held, with proceeds supporting the event's operation.
