A Wisconsin dairy producer who serves as vice-chairperson of USDA's National Dairy Promotion and Research Board will serve another term in that capacity. Connie Seefeldt of Coleman was first chosen for the post after being appointed to the NDB in early 2017.
Seefeldt is a long-time member of the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, where she served as chairperson for five years.
Leaders of Dairy Management Inc., the NDB and the United Dairy Industry Association announced the election results for the national dairy checkoff during its the joint annual meeting.
The 37-member panel carries out promotion and research programs to help build demand, and expand domestic and international markets for dairy products.
